When the wise God planted His Garden

When the wise God planted His garden,
Scattering the seeds from above,
The choicest seed in His packet
Was the flower of Mother-love.
Carefully watched o'er and tended,
Nurtured by sunshine and stronger,
It blooms a beautiful flower.
A flower so sweet and entrancing,
Dazzling and shining and white,
A love that guards us and guides us
Through life our beacon light.
A love that steadies our footsteps,
That stretches a helpful hand,
That comforts our sorrows and heartaches,
That always will understand.
Mother-love, God's gift to His children,
With heavenly fragrance fraught;
The brightest flower in God's garden,
His truest forget-me-not.

Usually the first learnt flower poem:-

Roses are red
Violets are blue;
Sugar is sweet
and so are you.

Season Song
It is springtime, it is springtime
Winter’s gone, winter’s gone
Summer time is coming, summer time is coming
It won’t be long, it won’t be long.

Count your garden by the flowers, never by the leaves that fall.
Count your days by the golden hours, don't remember clouds at all.
Count your life by smiles, not tears, and with joy on every birthday.
Count your age by friends, not years.

There is beauty to be found
Within each and every flower;
Big or small , scented or not
Butterflies dance within every bower.

Tiny, tiny petals are found on forget-me-nots
Some look like thistles and quickly fade away;
Bountiful colors in every shade
They come and go every single day.

Some flowers are huge
They're over twelve feet tall;
They're found in the rainforests
Bumble bees must have a ball.

We send flowers when a baby is born
Some more when they are wed:
Some on their anniversaries
The rest when they are dead.

For every occasion there is a flower to suit
Whether mystical or true;
There will always be a favorite
And always just one for you!

In every color, in every shade
You won't find another color;
That God didn't have on his palette
When he created all, like no other!

They fill us with love
In awe of their beauty;
Intoxicated by their scents
Cherishing them is our duty.

We are now discovering
All the uses of the plants;
That God has given us
Just so that we can dance.

To dance with life is why we're here;
To gaze upon their beauty;
The spectrum of our vision
To discover the joy in botany.

A  red chrysanthemeum means I love you
A white one I tell no lie;
A daffodil you're held in high regard
A daisy is innocent-I don't know why.

A fern is fascinated and very sincere
Whilst ferns are sincere and fascination;
Honeysuckles are most generous
But Iris is filled with affection.

Lemon blossom demonstrates fidelity
Whilst orange blossom is pure;
Japonica is oh so lovely
Hydrangea I'm not so sure.

Sweet pea is full of pleasures
Red roses full of love;
A tulip is for love as well
All these come from up above

When you have only two pennies left in the world,
buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other.
