The Dream Net
The dream net has been made
For many generations;
Where spirit dreams have played
Hung above the cradle board
Or in the lodge up high.
The dream net catches bad dreams
While good dreams slip on by.
Bad dreams become entangled
Among the sinew thread.
Good dreams slip through the center hole
While you dream upon your bed.
This is an ancient legend,
Since dreams will never cease,
Hang this dream net above your bed,
Dream on, and be at peace.

Sleep well sweet child
Don't worry your head.
Your dream catcher is humming
way above your bed.
Listen so softly I know you can hear
The tone of beyond close to your ear.
Love is alive and living in you
Beyond all your troubles
Where good dreams come true.

While I rock you off to sleep
And under your eyelids you did peep;
Your spirit drifts and inner sense
Mix with all of life's incense.
Our energies can never die
All is one and the same;
So link in betwixt these realms
This power some can tame.

A Bed of Clouds
I sleep in the clouds, dream in the sky,
I'll keep dreaming as life passes me by;
I think it's my dreams that keep me sane
I dream of happiness, a life without pain.
Some people say that I'm stuck in this place
and I'll never go anywhere;
But in my dreams
I've already been there.
I know some day I'll have to wake up
But I feel the real world is more like a nightmare;
I'm safe in my closed eye wonderland'
This poem goes to all the dreamers that understand.
No matter what they say..
keep your dreams but don't dream your life away.

Reality what is that?
A Professors' quandary all the time;
It's not the same for everyone
not for you nor mine!
**
A Childs Dream
Close your eyes and sleep dear child.
Lie still and dream for just a while.
A spaceship has come for you
and soon it'll make,your wishes come true .
Get in your seat,hold on tight.
You're off to a special place tonight.
You will see magical things,
all the many wonders,dreaming brings.
See the round moon high above
and all the stars that twinkle with love,
A comet lights up the sky,
while a meteoroid streaks on by.
Planets with rings spin in space,
while man's satellites,try to keep pace.
Look around and you can see,
millions of beautiful galaxies.
Nebulae with colors bright,
look like giant kaleidoscopes,tonight.
With a black hole,don't collide,
because it pulls everything, inside.
Asteroids come and then go
and now your spaceship, begins to slow.
When you raise your sleepy head,
you find that you've, never left your bed.

Beyond, beyond, the mountain line
The grey stone and the boulder;
beyond ythe growth of dark green pine
That crowns it's western shoulder;
There lies that fairy land of mine
Unseen of a beholder.
It's fruits are all like rubies rare
It's streams are clear as glasses;
There golden castles hang in air
And purple grapes in masses;
And noble knights and ladies fair
Come riding down the passes.
Ah me! they say if I could stand
Upon those mountain ledges;
I should but see on either hand
Plain fields and dusty hedges.
And yet I know my fairy land;
Lies somewhere o'er their hedges.
