Get Well Poems Verses

**

I am so sorry to hear you are ill
I hope it's not too serious;
All the team here are missing you
And can't wait till you're back with us.

**

I hear you rang in sick today
Backache, headache that's a nasty flu;
Take all the medicine going and
I'd stay in bed if I was you.

**

Tablets, pills and potions too
I'll take them all you know;
I've been lucky and never ill
So I'll have to go with the flow.

Thanks for the offers for helping me
It's very kind you know;
But for now I can manage
If I need you it will show.

**

That chemo is really bad
I know it makes you feel so weak;
If there's anything I can help you with
I'm first for you to seek!

The greens are the best or so I've heard
I'm not sure just how many you should eat;
They make me windy with one or two
You'll have to eat them with some meat!

Windy or what, stop blaming the dog
And now you've started on the cat;
You must be blowing it all away
At least you won't get fat.

Get Well Poems Verses

**

I can't wait until you're well
To go out and about again;
The fresh air and friends will set you up
Dancing with your kinsmen.

Your wit and friendship
Has been missed sorely;
Both at work and down the pub
So hurry up and stop being poorly!

A bowl of warmth, a soft face, a new day.
Some get-well thoughts sent your way.
Feel better soon.

**

Okay, so today your feeling low
But soon you will be better you know
Listen to the doctors you meet
And before you know it you'll be back on your feet.

Hope this happy get-well note
Adds sunshine to your day-
And shows you that you're thought of
In a warm and special way!

**

So in hospital just lay back and rest
You might as well enjoy;
As best you can the feet up thing
Can I bring you in a toy.

Something to keep you occupied
Whilst doctors slave away;
Mending all your broken bones
Fancy falling in the doorway.

Heard all the jokes okay I'll shut it
oh that's what you did to the door;
I know, I know I'm sorry
I won't say it anymore.
